The Norrbotten congregation

The Norrbotten congregation was founded in 1978. The congregation’s purpose is to organize devotional services in northern Sweden. The congregation has 37 members, most of whom live in the Luelå and Kalix area. Services are held usually at the Hertsö state church in Luleå and at parish house in Kalix. The congregation organizes 12 services per year. The SFC conducts two mission trips, each consisting of four days of travel, one in spring and one in autumn. The Finnish sister organization, the SRK, organizes mission trips to Norrbotten, including Kiruna and Junosuando. These trips include twelve days of travel per year. The congregation also organizes song services and Sunday school. At the state church in Haparanda the SFC also has Ascension Day services.
