The Mälardalen congregation, which previously was called Eskilstuna and omnejds congregation, was founded in 1970. The number of members has varied over the years. Today the congregation has 20 members. The activities of the congregation is spread over the Skinnskatteberg, Västerås, Eskilstuna, and Motala area. Services are organized at the various locations, but mostly in Eskilstuna.
The congregation does not have its own preacher. Most of the services are organized by the SFC. Sometimes the congregation schedules its own ministers sometimes. Services are held at the Swedish Church twice a month. When the opportunity arises, bible class and day circle is arranged for the youth and children living in the congregation's area.
